Foodie Thoughts | Blueberries + Cream Cookies



Umm…have you guys heard of a little thing called Pinterest?  It is a highly addictive virtual idea board.  You can follow your friends, your favorite bloggers, and even your favorite stores.  To say it’s pretty cool is an understatement.  Did I mention that it’s highly addictive?

What can you find there?  Why, craft DIYs, clothes that I want in my closet, fabulous party ideas, quotes, you name it.  But my absolute favorite things to pin are yummy recipes.  I’ve actually been using Pinterest to get dinner ideas – with much success.

The way I see it, Pinterest is a creative springboard for people to go out and do.  Go out and make that fun DIY, style an outfit in a different way, cook something delicious, bake something super delicious – you get the idea.  Over the past year, I’ve been accumulating TONS of inspiring things.  I’ve decided enough is enough.  It’s time to make something that I’ve ‘pinned’!

I would like to introduce you to a soft, chewy, buttery cookie that has already become a favorite amongst my family.  Grown ups and littles alike.  Meet the Momofuku Blueberries and Cream Cookies. (You can find my pin with the recipe HERE)

There are a few steps, and a couple unusual ingredients (you can find glucose in your nearest craft store baking section, and powdered milk is in the baking section of your grocery store) that may discourage some to move on.  But they are easy to find and well worth the effort.
